Job Details:

SUMMARY:

This position will be responsible for assisting our community giving program officer in evaluating the needs of various Tyson Foods communities and making investment decisions based on a pre-set budget. This role will also be developing impact stories and helping Tyson to communicate the impact of the community investments that we are making. This candidate will ideally have a communications, journalism or nonprofit background/area of study.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Incoming junior, senior or MBA at least one year of school remaining required. Communications, Journalism, and Nonprofit management majors/minors preferred.

Experience: Previous work experience in any field.

Computer Skills: Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft office products.

Supervisory: None

Special Skills: Ability to multitask; motivated self-starter.

Physical Requirements: This position occasionally requires the TM to lift objects of 50lbs or more.

This is a year-round internship located in Springdale, AR. Candidates should anticipate working in office up to 20 hours per week during the school year and 40 hours per week over the summer if school schedule allows.
