Job Details:

SUMMARY:
Primary ongoing responsibility is for management of projects. Focuses on meeting project commitments including communications with stakeholders etc. Leads project team consisting of internal and 3rd party employees. Provides broad level oversight to all aspects of the project. Leads in the planning implementation and introductions of projects for new systems and technologies. Has direct responsibility for project budget and resources. Accountable for delivery of the project on time on budget and on scope.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Exercise fundamental sound project management techniques and workflow process when executing assigned projects
  • Build project plans using MS Project and WBS structures able to clearly outline objectives timing and risks
  • Communicate and align key resources at all levels of the organization on assigned projects
  • Act as a best in class Project Management example for the organization and subject matter expert
  • Development of Project Management guidelines and a protocol or screening tool for the business
  • Support training events on project management
  • Act as a mentor to other parts of the organization who need project management help or information
  • Prepare time to market KPIs tracking and present to leadership and maintain tracking boards
  • Report out key project management metrics to various functions and levels


REQUIREMENTS:

Education: BA or BS degree in computer science, management or other related discipline. Equivalent experience may be acceptable.

Experience:

  • 3 plus years of proven experience as a project manager
  • Experience with wide-ranging information technology services and hardware software migrations
  • Must demonstrate the ability to schedule and manage resource capacity required of small/medium projects
  • Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally and the ability to tailor messaging to different levels within the organization
  • Demonstrated success delivering projects on time meeting requirements and with high team satisfaction including some complex projects and projects involving a number of project staff and users
  • Demonstrated expertise utilizing multiple project methodologies such as Agile

Computer Skills: Basic understanding of Information Technology services Network Database Systems Collaboration Cloud Enablement

Communication Skills: Must exhibit strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to tailor messaging to the different levels of the organization

Special Skills: Experience with software licensing preferred. Formal certification in Project Management PMI PMP CSM preferred

Supervisor: No direct reports

Travel: Minimal travel depending on project assignments

Location: Springdale, Arkansas (onsite)
