Job Details:

SUMMARY: Responsibilities will vary from performing one procedure or work instruction to a number of analytical, microbiological, or quality system procedures or work instructions in a Food Safety Laboratory. Precision and accuracy in performance of the work instructions and data collection is essential; must be able to maintain ISO records for process control and comply with quality system and safety requirements.

Requirements and or Qualifications:

Education: A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent. College level courses or degree in Biology Microbiology Chemistry Food Science and or Physical Sciences as well as laboratory experience would be helpful.

Work duties include following standard operating procedures and repetitive operations such as doing lab tests.

Computer Skills: General knowledge of Windows Microsoft Office Applications. Training needs for this position are listed in the Laboratory information Management System. Other training as needed as well as annual training will be required. Daily work will be determined and assigned by supervisor.

Must be able to communicate effectively with management.
