Job Purpose/Summary:

Our Senior Analyst Revenue Growth Management will be a critical part of the Prepared Revenue Growth Management team and will support Retail Private Label pricing activities and trade optimization for select customers to achieve business goals. Our Senior Analyst will help identify and develop pricing strategies for new private label products and RFP’s, and support Sales by measuring and improving the ROI of Tyson’s trade promotion spending at key grocery retailers through strategic insights on pricing and promotions. The Senior Analyst will work closely with BU, Sales, and RGM teams to understand the go-to-market strategy for key customers and key categories of the portfolio and will leverage Tyson’s Post-Event Analysis and Promotion Optimization tools to proactively identify and share analytical insights with Sales and Marketing partners.

Our Senior Analyst would be working 100% Onsite at our Corporate Office in Springdale, Arkansas, 1st shift Monday - Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM (some flexibility on start/end times). Although the Salary Rate for this role is based on experience of the selected Candidate, this role does offer a 7% Annual Incentive Plan, 2% Annual Salary Review, with great benefits, Medical, Vision, Dental, continued growth & a chance to join a great team!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the development of customer proforma P&L’s and scenario analysis to support RFP’s and pricing recommendations / decisions.

  • Support new products pricing strategies, develop formula pricing models, and other methods of pricing to protect overall margin structure and ensure accurate customer pricing.

  • Analyze internal and external factors (commodity markets, competitive pricing, market share, etc.) and develop actions plans to minimize risks and maximize profitability.

  • Manage the monthly private label and formula priced products gross sales forecast.

  • Lead CBD Quarterly Pricing Mechanic analysis.

  • Analyze and validate internal and third-party data to assess promotion performance and understand benefits.

  • Assist in project work with sales teams to improve pricing and promotion plans and forecast results.

  • Provide brand teams with insights to inform pricing and promotion decisions.

  • Develop and share best practices.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including RGM, Sales, BU’s, and Finance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required; Degree in Finance, Accounting or other Business-related experience preferred.

  • 2-4 years of previous experience in Finance, Revenue Management, Business Development, Category Management, or Accounting. Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience is a plus.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint. Familiar with advanced formulas and pivot tables.

  • Natural inquisitiveness to exploring data and looking for insights to drive business decisions.

  • Strong data manipulation, analytical, and problem solving skills.

  • Skilled in displaying quantitative information in visual formats such as Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, including communicating insights to diverse audiences.

  • Excellent collaboration skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.

  • Business and Financial acumen.

  • Proficiency in Syndicated Data (Nielsen, IRI) usage (mining & gathering) is a plus.

  • Supervisory: N/A

  • Travel: Limited travel expectations (1 – 2 trips annually)
