SUMMARY:
The Sr. Finance Manager Supply Chain Network Support will play an essential role in partnering with both the Supply Chain leadership team, as well as the business teams to deliver operational excellence and productivity. This role will work with stakeholders across various functions and locations; strong communication and an ability to build effective partnerships are critical for success. In addition the Sr Manager will assist in developing and executing strategies with the goal of delivering sustainable financial results. Day to day accountabilities include partnering with the business teams and support functions to identify and execute cost productivity opportunities & network optimization strategies. The Sr Manager will also participate in the development of the monthly and quarterly forecasts, working closely with cross functional business partners. A successful candidate will exhibit an inquisitive nature, provide thoughtful & novel analytics and be able to drive accountability with our cross functional partners.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Enhance Supply Chain Finance communication and partnership with the individual business units & functional teams to enable a “One Team” approach in identifying, analyzing & delivering productivity results and in developing long-term initiatives to drive value.
• Responsible for partnering with cross functional teams in the tracking and communication of progress towards productivity goals to Sr Leadership.
• Partner with the Network Strategy group, Operations leadership & the Business units to identify & analyze network optimization opportunities.
• Support the S&OP process by providing proactive clarity on the financial implications of moves within the production network, both internally & externally.
• Provide guidance and communication to the business teams and Supply Chain finance on the monthly & quarterly forecast related to productivity & network optimization initiatives.
• Assist in the development of innovative reporting/analytical tools with the goal of providing cost clarity and bridging the gap between “data” and actionable information.
• Build collaborative working relationships with the Plant Controllers and operational leadership to drive productivity and operational improvements.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education/Certifications: Undergrad degree in Finance, Accounting, Operations; MBA desired
- Experience: 8+ years in Finance & or Operations in positions of increasing responsibility, previous CPG/Food manufacturing a plus
- Computer Skills: Highly proficient at Office systems including Excel; experience with SAP, BI, and BPC is desired. Experience in using Power Query & Power BI is a plus
- Communication Skills: Able to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
- Travel: less than 25%
