Job Details:

This position is responsible for operating the drum washer machine. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

The person in this position will ensure the drums are loaded into the washers correctly, will ensure that all drums go through the complete wash procedure, will ensure the drum washers have the correct water pressure needed to wash the drums correctly, will ensure the correct chemical is used during wash cycle and will ensure the water temperature is at the required degrees during the wash cycle.

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Must be able to work in a humid/wet environment.
• Must be able to work in a cold environment.
• Must be able to walk and stand for the duration of the shift.
• Any team member who accumulates 8 or more attendance points, who holds a class 2 or above position, will be demoted to any available class 1 position in the plant.
• Machine operator experience or equipment maintenance experience preferred.
