Job Details:

Summary:

This position will serve as the finance partner to Executive’s in Legal, IT, HR, Sustainability, Business Services and Finance for accounting, budgeting, and forecasting support and guidance. Routinely assist in cost-benefit analyses that will provide direct value to our business. Design efficient use of data collection and analysis through automation technologies and Power BI reporting. Research accounting guidance to assist in the accounting for transactions for both our domestic and international partners. Develop and document policies for the most accurate, efficient, and equitable budgeting processes across the enterprise. Present complex, and often difficult, information to the Company’s highest executives on a regular basis. Assist with Month End Close activities which include preparation of routine journal entries, research and directing and managing the accounting functions. Create ad-hoc financial reporting researching US GAAP and provide guidance on appropriate application presenting financial results review of journal entries and other financial schedules and oversight or assistance with other projects as needed.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

Experience: 3-5 plus years of related experience preferred.

Computer Skills: Experience in SAP and Microsoft Office applications: including Excel, Word and Power BI preferred; Working knowledge of data analytics design and presentation

Communication Skills: Excellent written presentation and verbal communication skills. Executive presence. Ability to concisely explain complex issues

Special skills: Certified Public Accountant preferred, but not required; Excellent technical accounting knowledge and ability to research complex GAAP accounting standards and document conclusions; Strong team-oriented skills, as well as a high level of self-motivation in working independently; Ability to work with a diverse group of people across various levels, functions and locations; Track record for exceeding multiple goals on various short-term projects simultaneously
