The candidate will be the primary contact person for anything related to order release and invoice collections for a portfolio of diverse customers. Candidates should have a high level of initiative, problem solving, and follow-through skills. This is a multitask environment where strong prioritization and timely implementation of tasks are paramount to success. Strong customer service skills and experience with diverse customer base is a prerequisite for the position.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: The position will be responsible for managing the order release process for their respective customers on a daily basis. This includes ensuring timely coordination and delivery of payments so that customer accounts remain current and in good standing within your span of control. The candidate will utilize several Tyson systems and must be able to learn all aspects of Credit department functions as well as related functions to other departments within Tyson. The individual must possess a proficiency in basic Excel functions, being able to audit data and adjust formulas as needed.

DIFFICULTY OF DUTIES: Self-disciplined and self-driven candidates are required for the position. A high level of ethics is expected with a strong sense of maintaining customer confidentiality. Assignments are defined daily and driven by a system workflow process. Strong prioritization and time-management skills are essential to achieving daily, weekly, and monthly metrics. This position has set policies and procedures in place for the performance of duties, and good judgment and proper documentation must be used at all times. Understanding that Tyson customers are diverse and customer service must be adaptable to meet Tyson’s objectives in light of varying customer systems and payment methods.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Associates degree preferred. Knowledge of mathematics, grammar, office equipment functions and professional customer service communication is required.

Experience: 3+ years of customer service based order to cash functions preferred.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills required; must be proficient at MS Office & Excel; must possess good data reporting skills in Excel spreadsheets and be able to audit and make changes to Excel formulas.

Communication Skills: Must possess excellent written and verbal communication.

Special Skills: Responsible for analyzing a variety of invoice related issues and communicating those observations effectively within Tyson, to management, and ultimately the customer. Keen attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to thrive in a multi-task and deadline-focused environment. Ability to work independently and take initiative, while exhibiting a strong sense of teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
