SUMMARY:

The Organization Change & Enablement Specialist will support HR (Human Resource) functions with technical, analytical, and logistic aspects of the change management methodology. They will support highly complex HR programs consisting of multiple related projects.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Accountable for the development of a set of actionable and targeted organizational change management plans – including business impact assessments, stakeholder engagement and communication plan, evaluation plan, sponsor roadmap, training plan, sustainability plan and resistance/coaching plan.

  • Manage, and communicate project schedules and status, while balancing priorities on multiple projects simultaneously

  • Accountable to produce training materials associated with the project.

  • Develop and issue metrics reporting for training and organizational change management effectiveness.

  • Able to work with project managers and the business to ensure successful implementation of new projects by executing the training, sustainability, and communication plans.

  • Facilitate organizational change management activities with cross-functional team members and stakeholders to understand and ensure adoption of the Business Transformation.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Education, Business or equivalent experience which would include experience in Organizational Change Management and Training & Development.

  • 2+ years of experience in change management - within the Technology and/or Human Resources space.

  • Understanding of training delivery principles.

  • Understand project management principles.

  • Capability in the use of the Microsoft suite of tools (Word, Excel, Project).

  • Ability to implement appropriate organizational change management strategies.

  • Ability to work with various file formats and computer applications and use the appropriate one for the project.

  • Influencing, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with client groups, unions, and HR.

  • Strong Presentation and Management skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across functionally and collaboratively.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Prosci certification is an asset.

  • Experience in a full lifecycle change management project is preferred.


COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

This position is expected to communicate recommendations across a broad range of users, stakeholders, and management. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills required. Team members must be able to adapt their communication style for all levels within the organization.

Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to drive improvement and integration of processes, technology, and people; Effective time management and prioritization skills; Detail oriented with focus on quality; Ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive positions
