What is the Integration Development Team?

We are constantly fostering the innovation and the implementation of cutting-edge technologies while building high-performance and scalable solutions. This team is primarily responsible for B2B/EDI integrations across Tyson’s applications, business partners (customers/vendors/logistics), and will be collaborating with most areas within IT. If you enjoy working in a rapidly changing environment and influencing the strategic direction of a large global organization, this position will provide you with that opportunity.

How can I be part of Tyson Technology?

Tyson Foods Software Engineering and Integration team is seeking a Senior EDI Engineer for our B2B Integrations team. The ideal candidate is a creative and will demonstrate superior technical abilities. This opportunity requires excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Key focus areas will be our B2B/EDI initiatives, while working on development, support and enhancement activities. Looking for someone with a technologist mindset with high initiative and integrity who excels in excellent customer service.

Do you have the technical qualifications?

• Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in an enterprise EDI platform - IBM Sterling Integrator – 3-5 years' experience
  • Proficiency with data communication protocols (FTP/SFTP, AS2) & EDI ANSI x12/EDIFACT standards
  • Expertise in Business Process and Map development.
  • Experience designing and building integrations with SAP using IDocs
  • Proficiency with Direct EDI, EDI via VAN and Web EDI implementations
  • Understanding of IBM Sterling Integrator Administration and Tuning
  • Strong SQL skills

• Preferred Skills:
  • Understanding of middleware technologies/tools such as Pub/Sub messaging, message queues, ActiveMQ, Message Broker.
  • Experience in JavaScript is a plus
