The Peel Compton Foundation is looking for a Groundskeeper to join our team. We are looking for a Groundkeeper who truly enjoys the craft of outdoor work. Beyond just maintenance, we need someone with a passion for planting and a keen eye for horticultural detail to keep our grounds thriving. This is a full-time opportunity with a full benefits package. Typical schedule: Monday – Friday (day shift)

What You’ll Do
- Curate the Landscape: Perform high-standard lawn care, including mowing, and fertilization.
- Horticultural Care: Plant, prune, and maintain trees, shrubs, and seasonal flowers to ensure peak health and visual appeal.
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Keep walkways, parking lots, and common areas free of debris, snow, and ice.
- Irrigation Management: Monitor and perform minor repairs on sprinkler systems to ensure efficient water usage.
- Equipment Stewardship: Operate and maintain lawncare equipment.
- Seasonal Transitions: Lead the charge on leaf removal in the fall and snow mitigation during winter months.
- Focus on detail.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs comfortably.
- Previous experience in professional landscaping or grounds maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of local plant species and pest control.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
