Description
Our Digital Shelf Interns gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced and evolving digital shelf industry while supporting our DSI (Digital Shelf Integration) client teams. Interns work alongside DSI Managers and Specialists to gain exposure to client management and learn how brands manage and grow their business across Amazon, Walmart, Target, Kroger, and other retailers through content execution, digital shelf audits, and reporting.
Daily responsibilities will vary based on business needs, giving interns exposure to the digital shelf ecosystem and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful client work. Along the way, interns will learn how to use data to uncover insights, execute accurate and complete product content, and support the DSI team's standard of excellence.
In addition to professional development and team-building opportunities, each intern will complete a summer project to showcase what they have learned, presenting their findings and recommendations to Harvest Group leaders.
Responsibilities
  • Learn Harvest Group systems, tools, and processes to support day-to-day DSI team needs.
  • Support product content execution, including uploads and updates to titles, bullets, descriptions, images, and attributes across retailer platforms (Amazon, Walmart, Target, Kroger, and others).
  • Gain hands-on exposure to retailer platforms and portals, including Amazon Vendor Central, Seller Central, Walmart Supplier One, Target POL, and content syndication tools (e.g., Syndigo, Salsify).
  • Assist with routine audits of digital shelf presence, helping identify gaps and inconsistencies in titles, bullets, descriptions, images, and attributes.
  • Use data and reporting to help identify trends, uncover insights, and support content health monitoring.
  • Help follow and refine documented SOPs and playbooks that improve team efficiency and ways of working.
  • Contribute to internal team meetings and gain exposure to client discussions and digital shelf strategy.
  • Participate in professional development and learning opportunities throughout the internship.
  • Complete an individual summer project and present findings and recommendations to Harvest Group leaders.
Desired Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or graduate degree, with junior, senior, or graduate student status preferred.
  • Interest in a career in digital shelf, ecommerce, content management, or account management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in using data to uncover insights.
  • Highly curious with a strong desire and ability to learn.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and build strong working relationships.
