Description:
The Technology Support Specialist II is responsible for resolving technical issues, maintaining hardware and software systems, and improving operational efficiency across the organization. This role goes beyond basic support by identifying trends, driving root-cause solutions, and managing the full lifecycle of end-user technology while delivering excellent service to Harvest Group employees.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to employees by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware and software issues promptly and effectively
  • Respond in a timely manner to employee service issues and requests
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of support requests, solutions, and interactions within our ticketing system
  • Investigate root causes of technical problems and implement long-term solutions
  • Manage the lifecycle of end-user devices, including provisioning, maintenance, and decommissioning
  • Deploy, support, and maintain Zoom Rooms and Microsoft Teams Rooms
  • Troubleshoot account access, permissions, and security-related issues
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems, networks, and device performance
  • Assist with process improvements and documentation
  • Support additional technology initiatives and ad-hoc requests as needed
Requirements:
  • 3–5 years of IT support experience, preferably in a Level 2 or similar role
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently while collaborating with a team
  • Experience identifying trends and driving problem resolution beyond individual tickets
  • Solid knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows and Mac), and basic networking
  • Experience managing device lifecycle (imaging, deployment, maintenance, and asset tracking)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to document processes and maintain organized records
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred:
  • Experience deploying and supporting Zoom Rooms and Microsoft Teams Rooms
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID or similar identity management tools
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and Mac device management tools (e.g., Jamf, Kandji/Iru)
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or equivalent
  • Demonstrated passion for learning, growth, and expanding technical skillsets
