Description:
The Business Development Analyst plays an integral part of the New Business Development team. This role is responsible for developing and managing new business prospects. In this role, the analyst communicates strategies and tactics across the organization, reviews inbound leads, and develops creative ways to offensively pursue prospects. In addition, this role is responsible for tracking, assessing, and reporting new business for the company. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial mindset, excellent communication skills, strong prioritization and organization skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for efficiently vetting inbound leads
  • Identify and develop creative ways to engage with prospective clients
  • Utilize tools like ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator, HubSpot, IRI, etc. in addition to discovering new potential tools
  • Communicate with key stakeholders across retailer teams
  • Lead trade show prospect strategy and connections
  • Partner with marketing team to develop content that resonates with prospective clients
Requirements:
  • At least 1-2 years of experience working in the consumer packaged goods industry
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to proactively and creatively problem solve (as an individual and with a team)
  • Willingness to travel
