Your role at Clorox:
This position is a senior leadership role reporting to the Director of Manufacturing and serving as a key partner to the Sales organization, the IBP team, SC Center Procurement, and Plant Production, Logistics, and Quality leadership. The role provides strategic oversight to a team of network material planners and buyers/schedulers, and works in close alignment with BU Material Management, Purchasing, and Scheduling leaders to guide these functions across all BU facilities. A central responsibility is to build a strong community of practice and drive the development and adoption of standardized processes across the network. The leader is also expected to collaborate with BU MSM leadership and the MSM COE to shape, refine, and implement best‑practice frameworks for the broader organization.In this role, you will:
- Develop and drive the network inventory strategy that minimizes working capital and changeover costs while meeting customer service targets.
- Establish and implement MSM best practices and audit for adherence.
- Audit current processes while establishing and driving the adoption of best practices for materials and scheduling management activities along with data management.
- Direct production and inventory control, shipping and receiving, and materials storage.
- Direct production planning and scheduling based on sales forecasts.
- Coordinate with the plant Logistics & Material Management Leaders, Quality Leaders, and Production Leaders to ensure timely availability of raw materials & components while considering storage space, resolve quality issues, and communicate production schedules.
- Collaborate with IBP, sales, and procurement teams to align production plans with overall business goals.
- Oversee plant-level tactical buying of purchased material.
- Manage PPDS and ERP planning tools and the supporting data including guidance on setting rates and establishing sequencing logic.
What we look for:
- 7+ years of demonstrated experience in manufacturing or supply chain roles
- BS/BA Degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge and experience with materials management and SAP S/4HANA is preferred
- Knowledge of supply chain planning principles and interactions between production planning, demand planning and material planning
- Ability to react quickly to material / supplier-related issues and challenges
- Ability to execute root cause analysis and put sustainable controls in place
- Ability to provide effective leadership, coaching and support to assigned personnel
- Ability to provide clear guidance and direction to executional teams
- Highly analytical mindset with fact-based, data-driven problem solving
- Flexibility manifesting in ability to manage and prioritize planned and unplanned work
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong leadership skills with ability to lead and manage a team when needed
- Demonstrated increasing responsibility and a track record of success

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.
–Zone A: $128,000 - $252,200
–Zone B: $117,400 - $231,200
–Zone C: $106,700 - $210,200
