Your role at Clorox:

This Data Insights and Analytics Lead plays a pivotal role in driving omnichannel transformation and achieving annual performance goals. The role will integrate disparate data sources, elevate analytics capability of the Walmart HHE team, create a model/framework for elevated analytics capability that can expand across WMT teams. Collaborate closely with the Customer Data Analytics team & Team Leaders to ensure seamless execution and alignment with strategic priorities. Engage with sales customer managers, activation teams, and internal category insight teams to maintain data/content consistency and drive impactful category/digital strategies.

In this role, you will:

Engage our People as Business Owners (30%)

Provide high-quality communication about and management of the data and its intent, meaning, context, and lineage on the enterprise data catalog. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deeply understand their business objectives and challenges and work to implement data-driven strategies and measure their impact. Manage and lead Sr. Planner and SSAs executing analytics, reporting, and data catalog documentation.

Drive the Business (30%): Lead digital integration and automation initiatives, ensuring comprehensive reporting within the Walmart account. Facilitate the integration of requested data with existing datasets, working with the Analytics Team to ensure data consistency and relevance. Develop data strategies and architecture for data refresh cycles, scalability, and adaptability to changing business needs. Key team member supporting the WMT JBP process both in year and multi-year planning.

Customer Planning and Development (25%): Drives connection between customer team, cross-functional resources and category counterparts. Specifically with the respective Business Units on category specific insights and innovation discovery and execution. Provide subject matter expertise with deep functional and proven technical knowledge and voice of the customer and business. Identify, develop and implement improvements in new and current data workflows/processes that can help improve efficiency and visibility. Consider adding explicit influence with BU LT in development of innovation or BU category strategies. This was an area when we talked that she enjoyed/was proud of in her current role. Specifically the impact and frequency that her BU team came directly to her for analytics and insights

Build Capability to Drive Growth and Eliminate Waste (15%): Develops team data capabilities on key processes, tools and knowledge. Strong collaboration & partnership with the Customer Data team, to ensure alignment with enterprise analytic resources and priorities. Develops strong collaborative relationships with cross-functional resources, category and business units. Coordinate and organize large sets of information with ability to condense into simple, impactful materials. Anticipates future data requirements and proactively include them in data requests.

What we look for:

  • 5+ years of CPG experience
  • Intermediate skill in Power BI, Power Query, Power Aps, Alteryx, SQL
  • Combined business & technical acumen a plus.
  • Strong collaborator who leverages diverse experience and knowledge
  • Self Driven, Proactive, detail oriented, assertive and resilient
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent time management, organizational and prioritization skills, and ability to balance multiple deliverables
  • E2E understanding of data strategy development and strong ability to communicate the value of continuous investment to multiple stakeholders
  • ​An analytical thinker who makes balanced, insightful decisions with experience integrating data into business solutions
  • Technical proficiency in the company's data infrastructure, tools, and analytics processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and eager to learn new processes, technologies and practices
  • Intermediate to advanced query, reporting, and data management skills
  • Able to recognize process inefficiencies/opportunities and solution with minimal supervision
  • 4 year college degree or equivalent experience

Workplace type:

The preference is to have the ideal candidate based out of Bentonville, AR based upon the customer and business needs. The Hybrid 2.0 policy (3x per week in office) will be expected for candidates within a 50 mile radius of a Clorox Hub location. Open to qualified remote candidates.

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

Zone A: $124,300 - $244,900
Zone B: $114,700 - $224,500
Zone C: $103,600 - $204,100
