A group of growing technology startups is seeking Operations Interns to help improve the day-to-day systems, processes, and projects that keep early-stage companies moving forward. Interns will be matched with a startup based on their interests, skills, and the company’s current needs.

This is a hands-on opportunity to work closely with founders and small teams, gaining exposure to how startups build internal processes, support customers, manage priorities, and scale efficiently.

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities may vary by startup placement, but could include:

  • Support day-to-day business operations and special projects across the company.

  • Help organize internal processes, documentation, workflows, and reporting.

  • Track key tasks, deadlines, customer requests, or operational metrics.

  • Assist with customer onboarding, account support, or follow-up communication.

  • Conduct research to support company priorities, vendor decisions, or new initiatives.

  • Help coordinate meetings, projects, events, or team communications.

  • Maintain accurate information in spreadsheets, project management tools, CRM systems, or other internal platforms.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

  • Assist with preparing internal updates, presentations, process guides, or reports.

  • Work directly with startup leaders on projects that support company growth.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for organized, resourceful students or early-career professionals who are excited to learn how technology startups operate behind the scenes. Strong candidates will be comfortable juggling multiple priorities, solving problems, and working in a fast-moving environment.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Interest in startups, technology, entrepreneurship, operations, project management, or business strategy.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to take initiative, manage tasks, and follow through.

  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a small team.

  • Experience with spreadsheets, project management platforms, CRM tools, documentation systems, or presentation software is a plus, but not required.

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in business, entrepreneurship, supply chain, information systems, communications, technology, or a related field is preferred, but not required.

What You’ll Gain

During this internship, you will gain practical experience in:

  • Startup operations and internal business processes.

  • Project management and cross-functional coordination.

  • Customer support and onboarding workflows.

  • Process improvement and operational problem-solving.

  • Business tools, reporting, and documentation.

  • Working directly with founders and startup teams on meaningful projects.

You will also have the opportunity to build relationships with founders, startup operators, and other professionals across the regional technology ecosystem.
