POSITION TITLE: Bus Driver

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required

• Must be able to read and follow a series of directions or instructions.

• Must be able to lift, turn, twist, and bend on a frequent basis.

• Must be able to push and pull a minimum of 60 lbs. on a frequent basis.

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Class B CDL required (on-site training available)
• Must pass DOT Physical and pre-employment drug and alcohol screen

REPORTS TO: Transportation Director

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Student management

2. Pre-trip and post-trip bus inspections daily

3. Maintain and clean the interior of the bus

4. Maintain an up-to-date seating chart

5. Report behavorial issues to bus discipline supervisor

6. Attend required driver trainings
