POSITION TITLE: Bus Driver Substitute

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required
• Must be able to read and follow a series of directions or instructions.
• Must be able to lift, turn, twist, and bend on a frequent basis.
• Must be able to push and pull a minimum of 60 lbs. on a frequent basis.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Class B CDL required (on-site training available).
• Must pass DOT Physical and pre-employment drug and alcohol screen.

REPORTS TO: Director of Transportation

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Student management.
2. Pre-trip and post-trip bus inspections daily.
3. Maintain and clean the interior of the bus.
4. Maintain an up-to-date seating chart .
5. Report behavorial issues to bus discipline supervisor.
6. Attend required driver trainings.
