What you'll do

BlakeSt is seeking to add an Event Producer to our Team. The Event Producer will be an integral part of the Community Team at Blake Street House. The position will include executing a variety of Member events. The Event Producer supports BlakeSt’s core values, provides extraordinary value to BlakeSt Members and demonstrates our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The Event Producer must be available to work multiple evenings and weekends as necessary for events and programs.

Compensation: $21.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across departments, the Community Team, other departments and contractors to develop a monthly theme and events lineup. Coordinate with BlakeSt Team for execution of in-club events.
  • Contributes ideas for potential events and present findings to Team.
  • Attends internal planning meetings coordinated by the Event Manager and Community Team
  • Serves as the liaison between third party vendors and the Event Manager; ensuring organized and effective communication required to execute events.
  • Proactively handle any issues and troubleshoot any problems; creatively problem-solve.
  • Enter event information into Club Automation for Member sign-up.
  • Ensure event flyers are correct and print them for the Community Team to hang.
  • Schedule push notifications for each event to encourage attendance.
  • Set up for events, including furniture and AV equipment.
  • Take down and clean up after events. Manage post-event follow-up and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations.
  • Self-manage. Follow attendance policy, clock in/out appropriately, adhere to dress code, be proactive in accomplishing duties, and adhere to Company policies and procedures.
  • All other duties as assigned by the Director of Membership.

What You Need to Get the Job Done

  • Must be at least 17 years or older.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to monitor numerous software tasks.
  • High energy, positive, professional attitude, takes pride in work.
  • Strong writing/communications skills and proofreading skills.
  • Possesses strong qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to company mission.
  • Excellent prioritizing skills, strong organizational ability, time management and detail orientation.Must be able to work mornings, evenings, and weekends.
