Supported By: AVID School Site Team Coordinator and AVID District Director/Administrator

Role and Responsibilities

The AVID Elective Teacher is responsible for advocating and promoting academic success and equity for all students through the consistent implementation of the AVID College and Career Readiness Framework. This person will teach and promote college, career, and life skills and habits, enabling all students to be prepared for the next level and, eventually, higher education.

Classroom instruction; other duties as assigned.

Meet state licensing requirements.

192 day contract.

Start date: August 2026
