As a Community Lead at Rapha, you are the driving force behind fostering a vibrant local cycling community through exceptional ride programming, events, and social media engagement. The local leader for the Rapha Cycling Club (RCC) and an advocate for local cycling culture, you will be the go-to person for RCC members and prospective members alike.
You'll manage and execute a calendar of local rides and events around the local Clubhouse, coordinate with ride leaders, and collaborate with ambassadors to deliver best-in-class cycling experiences. Alongside community-building efforts, you'll oversee local social media channels, creating content that inspires engagement and enhances Rapha's brand presence. As part of the Clubhouse team, you will also support retail operations, delivering legendary customer experiences while seamlessly integrating community initiatives into the retail environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Rapha Cycling Club (RCC) & Open Rides
Program the Clubhouse ride schedule in line with company framework
Identify areas of opportunity & react to future community needs with creative & bespoke rides to your hyperlocal metro & community. Propose new ideas to your Regional Community Manager.
Adhere to RCC Regulations & code of conduct
Manage & support all Ride Leaders within local chapter including onboarding, training & offboarding to deliver rides to brand standard
Act as a liaison between for RCC Members, Ride Leaders & community ensuring collaboration
Strategically connect with, seek & pipeline Ride Leaders to represent the brand.
Host rides as a ride leader, and ride with all levels & audiences of your community & chapter
Propose new ride ideas to deepen loyalty & engage community for your local chapter
Take care of all bike hire needs for our RCC members, inclusive of bike maintenance & basic compliance
Actively seek to drive RCC membership through open rides, and proactively monitoring lapsed or soon to be lapsed RCC Members
Events & Activations
Organise Local Events & Activations to deepen brand loyalty, engage community to increase footfall & revenue for Clubhouse
Identify hyperlocal community & metro needs, ideate & react to these with creative & bespoke Events & Activations within the clubhouse and OOH within Metro to deepen brand engagement
Plan & execute Tier 2 events within your Clubhouse e.g. FAR, Festive 500
Where required, support with Tier 1 activations e.g. Summit
Partner with Clubhouse team to integrate community and community activations within the retail environment
Support the Cafe team to ensure brand standards & engagement is fulfilled through our Food & Beverage offering
Social Media
Create & edit engaging, inspiring content for Clubhouse Social Media Channels in line with brand social media guidelines that drives engagement & participation in rides & Clubhouse events.
Leverage Social channels to increase awareness of RCC and Clubhouse to drive KPI's
Execute campaigns to grow UGC & followers
Monitor results of social media; engagement, impression, likes, most popular content & use this to further improve the channels
Partnerships, Ambassadors & Network
Have an awareness of local competitors and their community engagement tactics
Network regularly to seek new partnerships, collaborations & to expand your network within the world of cycling
Identify potential brand aligned Partnerships within the metro
Engage with local influencers & ambassadors to enhance brand and deliver best in class cycling experiences
Planning & Analysis
Create, own & execute a yearly community calendar in line with business needs & local calendar looking 8-12 months ahead
Use company tools e.g. EASOL to monitor sign ups & conversion
Analysis of your metro, audience & community base using Power Bi Reports to make sound strategic decisions
Analysis of your Clubhouses social media performance and reacting to improve based on data
Provide your GM, Regional Community Manager or Regional Manager with community trade & lessons learned reports, reporting on Community KPI's on a weekly [or as required] basis
Analyse & react to feedback from NPS scores to improve the experience for your community & metro following attendance at a Rapha ride, activation or event
Manage back end of booking platforms and software to maximise data collection & clean data for future analysis
