Ozarks Electric, headquartered in Fayetteville, Arkansas with offices in Springdale, Arkansas, Stilwell, and Westville Oklahoma incorporated in 1938, is a member-owned electric cooperative, serving more than 90,000 meters across nine counties in Northwest Arkansas and Northeast Oklahoma.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree and two years' experience preferred.


EXPERIENCE:

May substitute education with at least five years of demonstrable working knowledge.


JOB KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Technical/software project management experience. Experience with Jira or similar

platforms preferred. PMP certification preferred or required within 24 months upon

acceptance of the position.


MAJOR JOB TASKS:

  • Develops and manages complex project plans throughout the entire lifecycle: initiation, requirements gathering, planning, execution, monitoring and closing.
  • Audits existing processes for efficiency, compliance, and quality. Works with leadership and cross functional teams to effectively select and prioritize process improvement efforts.
  • Applies process improvement best practices to modernize and improve workflows and systems. Provide documentation as required.
  • Coordinates among departmental stakeholders and project teams across the organization to ensure product implementations are delivered on time.
  • Manages project risks and drives issue resolution as it relates to meeting the overall schedule and quality commitments.
  • Coordinates activities and communication among project teams, including regular status reports to management.
  • Directs project activities that use shared resources or require cross-project reconciliation. This may include training, communications, change management, deployment, and support resources.
  • Develops performance metrics and implements improvements as needed.
  • May develop plans as needed for systems integration and/or automation.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert in many cross functional areas as it relates to enterprise software to ensure initiatives and processes are in alignment with Ozarks' strategy, goals, and objectives.
  • Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have valid driver's license without violation, which would prohibit insurability.
  • Work is performed in an office environment. Weekends, evening hours, overtime and/or overnight travel will occasionally be necessary.
  • All specific equipment related to Information Technology as well as routine office equipment.
