Ox is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Financial Analyst at Ox, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, developing financial models, and providing insights to support key business decisions. You will work closely with our Operations, Finance and Accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information.
- Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support business decision-making, including revenue and expense forecasting, budgeting, and financial performance analysis.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management and board members.
- Identify and investigate key financial trends and variances to provide insights and recommendations to improve business performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with accounting and finance policies and procedures.
- Support the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Assist with financial audits, including preparation of schedules and analysis, and liaising with external auditors.
- Develop and maintain financial models, including cash flow forecasting, profitability analysis, and ROI analysis.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate financial performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and potential risks.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a technology or startup environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting, including advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with financial reporting and accounting software, such as QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite, is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- CPA or CFA certification is a plus.
