Responsible for leading a team of picking and packing personnel. Pick Pack Lead is responsible for ensuring that all outbound shipments and Pick Pack orders are processed in a timely and accurate manner and maintaining inventory integrity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for timely and accurate shipping/order processing for our customers (internal & external)
- Responsible for timely and accurate replenishment
- Responsible for training and motivating subordinates
- Maintain knowledge of current software
- Complies to and promotes quality standards set forth by the company
- Organizing the layout of the department for optimal efficiency
- Maintain forward (pulling) bins to create accurate and timely pulling of orders
- Establish effective relationships with team members to promote unity and teamwork
- Promote a clean and safe environment as per company and federal guidelines
- Provides recognition and coaches team members on meeting expectations
- Participates in meetings and functions as requested
- Will perform other duties as assigned
- Endorses the Mission, Vision and Values of the company
- Leads cycle counting efforts
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent communicator (visual, written and verbal) and a creative thinker with the ability to use data to inform decisions
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems, inventory control systems, and Microsoft Excel
- Highly collaborative, able to establish and maintain relationships and displays strong leadership abilities to influence and work cross-functionally
- Excellent time management, multi-task oriented, organized and keen sense of personal accountability. Is highly motivated with a strong work ethic and demonstrated flexibility to meet tight deadlines
- Has a can-do attitude, tackles new challenges, projects, and requests head-on with enthusiasm.
- Ability to operate lift and/or willingness to be lift certified. Prior lift certifications a plus.

- Ability to work effectively and confidently in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines

Education and Qualifications
- 3+ Distribution Center experience
- Verifiable work history
- Microsoft Office and WMS systems experience preferred
- Leadership experience
Physical/Mental Requirements
- Required to have close visual acuity to perform computer tasks and operate other office machinery.
- The person in this position frequently communicates with internal and external customers and must be able to exchange accurate information in a clear manner.
- Ability to move 10-50 lbs occasionally throughout day.
- Able to see, hear and effectively communicate
- Based on need, ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended hours throughout the day
