The Project Manager is responsible for product development execution across their account base. This role collaborates in-network and cross-departmentally to ensure the delivery of cohesive, customer relevant product offerings.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead account specific projects, collaborating with cross-functional team members to deliver innovative and original product solutions that meet our customer and business needs.
  • Manages, plans, and tracks the development schedule of assigned accounts to ensure on-time completion.
  • Collaborates with Product Strategy Manager, Product Specialists, Lead Designer, and Sales team through clear communication, teamwork, and support to ensure all tasks are assigned and completed according to development timeline.
  • Owns the sample process from design concept to commercialization.
  • Present product lines to internal and external audiences as needed.
  • Prioritize work and resources based on short and long-term needs, collaborating with Product Strategy Manager, Lead Designer and Sales team members to establish and maintain project priorities.
  • Keeps all necessary parties informed of updates on project status and timeline changes.

  • Stays informed of our factory capabilities, including shape, technique, component, and fabric availability.
  • Works with Lead Designer in the selection of fabric, techniques, shapes, and trims within project pricing parameters and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Sourcing Department on shape development, fabric, and component needs.
  • Work closely with Corporate Responsibility to ensure development aligns with compliance requirements in advance.
  • Monitor and manage assigned projects and sample requests for their accounts on our internal PDS system.
  • Submits sample requests and ensures accurate communication of product specifications to factory.

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education experience.
  • 1+ years of relevant product development experience, apparel manufacturing background a plus.
  • Advanced level abilities in Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Physical/Mental Requirements

  • Highly proficient with verbal and written communication; adept at exchanging accurate information and engage in conflict resolution strategies.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position (seated) 80% of the day and occasionally reach, bend and move inside the office to access files and products.
  • Adapt to moderate noise (Example: collaborative team environment, office with computers, printing and light traffic)
  • Ability to move 10-25 lbs occasionally throughout day.
  • Able to hear a telephone ring.
  • Required to have close visual acuity to perform computer tasks and operate other office machinery.
  • Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors)
  • Available for infrequent domestic travel.
