JUNK Brands is seeking a highly capable Business Analyst that will play a pivotal role in enhancing our sales, marketing, operational and financial strategies by leveraging and communicating data from our IT suite, including NetSuite and Shopify. You will collaborate closely with the marketing, sales, product and executive teams to ensure our initiatives are data-driven and aligned with our brand’s objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reporting: Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders, including sales, marketing, product development, and executive leadership.
  • Data Extraction & Analysis: Pull, clean, and analyze data from NetSuite, Shopify, and other relevant systems to generate insights on customer behavior, sales performance, and marketing effectiveness.
  • Sales Performance Monitoring: Track key sales metrics, such as conversion rates, average order value, and customer acquisition costs, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Marketing Analytics: Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, including email, social media, and digital advertising, by analyzing engagement, conversion rate, ROI, and customer segmentation data.
  • Campaign Optimization: Collaborate with the marketing team to test and optimize campaigns based on data-driven insights, improving overall campaign performance and customer engagement.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data across all systems by implementing and maintaining data quality standards and protocols.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Perform ad-hoc analyses as requested by management to support strategic decision-making in sales and marketing.
  • Conduct Data-Driven Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate sales and revenue forecasts by analyzing historical data, market trends, and business insights to support strategic decision-making and financial planning

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business, Economics, Statistics, Marketing, Computer Science or similar
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in business / financial analytics or related field preferred
  • Proficiency in complex data extraction and analysis tools (e.g., SQL)
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
  • Effective in both written and verbal communication to technical and non-technical audiences

Physical/Mental Requirements

  • Required to have close visual acuity to perform computer tasks and operate other office machinery.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with internal and external customers and must be able to exchange accurate information in a clear manner.
