If so, consider joining our team as a Clinical Pharmacist working a full-time schedule.
The Clinical Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring safe practices of pharmacy operations, including review and interpretation of medication orders and patient records to determine appropriate therapy. The pharmacist will oversee the activities of pharmacy technicians and collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other clinicians as part of the interdisciplinary healthcare team, with a focus on ED and ICU.
Duties include daily attendance at multidisciplinary rounds, providing drug information, sterile and non-sterile compounding, documentation of pharmacist drug interventions, consulting on drug dosing, and responding to clinical emergencies within the hospital. The primary focus for this pharmacist will be in the ICU and ED critical areas, with the opportunity to establish this role.
Qualifications:
Successful completion of a PharmD degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
Active pharmacist license in Arkansas in good standing. (required upon hire)
Minimum of 2 years of clinical pharmacist experience or completion of a ASHP Accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency (preferred)
