Key Responsibilities Include:

• Collects information from incoming patients regarding services needed, insurance available, or financial status.
• May assist in completion of admissions or insurance forms.
• Contacts insurance providers to verify coverage and obtain authorization for service.
• Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks.
• Works under immediate supervision.
• Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Key Requirements Include:

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and six months related experience.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
