Supports nuclear medicine, MRI, radiology, computer-assisted tomography, and ultrasound.

• Directs the Diagnostic Imaging Department, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality patient care.
• Regulates the maintenance of departmental facilities, supplies, equipment, and materials in a manner to promote health, comfort, and efficiency.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance imaging services, staying abreast of technological advancements and industry best practices.
• Lead a team of imaging professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to foster a culture of excellence and collaboration.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards, including those set forth by the Joint Commission and FDA.
• Drive initiatives to optimize workflow processes, resource utilization, and patient throughput, while minimizing wait times and maximizing equipment uptime.
• Collaborate with other healthcare departments and stakeholders to coordinate imaging services and facilitate interdisciplinary care delivery.
• Implement quality assurance programs to monitor and improve image quality, patient safety, and radiation dose optimization across modalities.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development among imaging staff, promoting certification and training opportunities.
• Serve as a liaison between the Imaging department and executive leadership, providing regular reports on performance metrics, financial outcomes, and strategic initiatives.

Requirements Include:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field: Candidates should possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field to demonstrate a strong foundation in healthcare management principles and technical knowledge of imaging modalities.

2. Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in medical imaging: Applicants must have a proven track record of leadership in medical imaging, with at least 5 years of experience in progressively responsible roles, demonstrating proficiency in overseeing imaging operations and managing personnel.

3. Current licensure or certification in radiologic technology: Candidates should hold current licensure or certification as a radiologic technologist, and additional certifications in CT, MRI, Ultrasound, or Mammography required.
