Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, will assist in the preparation and distribution of medications and maintaining the drug inventory.
• May be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department.
• Receives and stores incoming supplies.
• Verifies stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
• May lead and direct the work of others.
• Typically reports to a manager or supervisor.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Key qualifications to be considered for this include:

• Requires an Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy technician registration, national pharmacy technician certification (PTCB, ExCPT, etc.)
• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience in the pharmacy field or in a related area
