The VP/Chief Development Officer (CDO) drives strategic growth initiatives to advance the mission of the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank. This executive role focuses on developing and executing comprehensive long-term strategies to enhance fundraising, marketing, and community engagement. The CDO collaborates closely with the CEO, CFO and senior leadership team to expand the organization's revenue streams, strengthen market presence, and build relationships with donors, community partners, and stakeholders.

This position serves as a key member of the senior management team, responsible for aligning organizational goals with strategic priorities, fostering innovation, and ensuring sustainable impact in the fight against hunger.

Northwest Arkansas Food Bank is one of six Feeding America Food Banks in Arkansas. It is our desire for healthy food to reach the kitchen tables of our neighbors as quickly as possible. We are encouraged by the numbers that reflect this effort. The Northwest Arkansas Food Bank currently has more than 110 agency partners ranging from food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, and many more. In 2023, we distributed more than 14 million pounds of food to those in need through our agency partners, Feed Rogers, and Mobile and School Pantries.

The Food Bank works to distribute food to those who are food insecure in our community while forming strong relationships with businesses, non-profit organizations, and others in the community who share the passion to end hunger in Northwest Arkansas.
