JOB SUMMARY
The Market on the Move Coordinator is responsible for daily operations of a year-round mobile market serving food-insecure neighbors located in Benton, Carroll, Madison, and Washington Counties. Market on the Move is a mobile market designed as a neighbor choice pantry on wheels bringing fresh produce, protein, shelf stable items, and essential resources directly to underserved communities experiencing a high level of food insecurity with limited access to traditional food assistance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES, FUNCTIONS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate all aspects of Market on the Move to include; secure sites for distribution, coordinate site partnership agreements, schedule dates/times, procure necessary product and equipment, and work with Programs Coordinator to schedule volunteers.
- Provide excellent customer service while managing all logistics of the stop (transportation, set-up, safety, signage, distribution etc.).
- Monitor and collect data from neighbors for inclusion in monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
- Work closely with Operations team to receive product weekly, inventory, stock and restock the market as necessary.
- Maintain, evaluate and develop relationships with sites hosting the markets consistent with goals of Market on the Move.
- Exhibit exemplary attendance and punctuality.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & RELATED EXPERIENCE
- A High School diploma is required.
- English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a coordinator or customer service role is preferred.
- Previous non-profit experience is preferred.
- A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to be covered by the organization's auto insurance are required.

- Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and other presentation software.

- An ability to do basic math and complete documentation accurately.
- An ability to work independently with little supervision.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES AND INTERACTIONS WITH OTHERS
This position has no supervisory responsibilities. However, the role will be expected to interact daily with coworkers and the public.
