Are you passionate about empowering students to achieve their educational goals? We’re seeking a dynamic and dedicated Student Success Advisor to join our Enrollment Services team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in our student-centric approach, focusing on enhancing the student experience while ensuring successful navigation of the enrollment process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional support to students through various communication channels, including phone, email, appointments, and walk-ins across multiple locations.

  • Cultivate an in-depth understanding of the enrollment process, covering admissions, records, financial aid, academic advising, registration, and payment arrangements.

  • Engage students in meaningful discussions about their academic and career aspirations, recommending courses, conducting degree audits, and offering guidance on financial aid and scholarships.

  • Respond to early alerts from faculty and other campus offices to outreach to students in accordance with student success initiatives.

  • Lead New Student Orientations, helping new students transition smoothly into our educational community.

  • Manage the Enrollment Support email and text-inbox, promptly addressing student inquiries.

  • Contribute to the planning and execution of student events, such as recruitment drives, retention initiatives, FAFSA nights, and college fairs, fostering a sense of belonging and engagement.

  • Process student records in alignment with enrollment procedures.

  • Facilitate referrals to relevant resources, such as the Disability Resource Center, Career Pathways, Veterans Resources, Student Success Center, and Counseling and Wellness Center.

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of student service tools, software, equipment, websites, transfer information, placement testing, and academic calendars.

  • Coordinate and manage student appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling.

  • Uphold Student Services policies and procedures while communicating updates to team members and campus partners.

  • Actively participate in continuous learning opportunities to stay abreast of best practices in student advising.

  • Collect and analyze weekly statistics and data pertaining to student services.

  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the department.

Salary $38,000 annually

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of the organization and administration of various higher education academic

and social programs.

Knowledge of campus and community resources.

Knowledge of state, federal, and campus rules, regulations, and requirements related to

campus academic and social programs.

Ability to coordinate the activities of campus academic and/or social programs.

Ability to evaluate collected information and formulate into recommendations.

Ability to compile information into report form.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, demonstrating a commitment to academic excellence and student development.

  • Exemplary customer service skills with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Preferred experience in higher education, showcasing familiarity with the academic environment and student support systems.

Location Flexibility

This position will involve fluid movement between Bentonville and Springdale locations. Occasional travel may be required to meet the diverse needs of students.
