Aerospace Assembly Supervisor

Location: Fayetteville, AR
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000 – $85,000+ annually, dependent on experience, merit, and productivity
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (occasional Saturdays), with overtime available

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support a team of 5–7 aerospace assemblers
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, planning, and other manufacturing teams
  • Ensure adherence to aerospace quality, compliance, and safety standards
  • Develop processes to reduce waste and nonconformance
  • Update job information for seamless repeat assemblies
  • Manage the team (hiring, scheduling, approving PTO, performance management)
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate production activities to ensure output and quality goals are achieved while staying within budget
  • Drive continual improvement of processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Forecast and provide required resources (shop supplies, tooling, safety equipment, personnel)
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the department
  • Communicate, deploy, and enforce company and regulatory policies (Drug Policy, Safety Procedures, Quality System instructions, Visitor Policy, etc.)

Knowledge and Qualifications Required:

  • Aerospace assembly experience (required)
  • Proven leadership and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability and mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings
  • Hands-on experience with aerospace tools and measuring instruments
  • Familiarity with QMS, NADCAP, and GD&T
  • Detail-oriented, teachable, and motivated to grow
