Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

Location: Fayetteville, AR
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday. General start and finish time is 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and professional Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to manage front desk operations and support the administrative needs of our office. This role is critical to maintaining a professional image for the company, ensuring smooth communication internally and externally, and assisting with a variety of office management tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage reception area to ensure effective telephone communication and a welcoming environment for visitors.
  • Provide administrative support for office operations, including coordinating supplies, equipment maintenance, and workspace organization.
  • Arrange domestic travel (flights, hotels, car rentals) for staff as needed.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal managers/supervisors regarding reception and visitor needs.
  • Oversee office equipment maintenance such as copiers, fax machines, and leased assets.
  • Assist with personnel processes including recruitment, retention, scheduling, and training record maintenance.
  • Support special projects and company initiatives related to administrative functions.
  • Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures, including safety, visitor policies, and quality standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Qualifications Required:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to make decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable performing routine tasks and detailed administrative work.
  • Knowledge of filing systems and basic office machine operation.

Preferred Experience & Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment:

  • Office setting with regular computer use and data entry.
  • Occasional walking across business campus, stair use, standing, and light physical activity.
