Receptionist/Administrative Assistant
Location: Fayetteville, AR
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday. General start and finish time is 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and professional Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to manage front desk operations and support the administrative needs of our office. This role is critical to maintaining a professional image for the company, ensuring smooth communication internally and externally, and assisting with a variety of office management tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage reception area to ensure effective telephone communication and a welcoming environment for visitors.
- Provide administrative support for office operations, including coordinating supplies, equipment maintenance, and workspace organization.
- Arrange domestic travel (flights, hotels, car rentals) for staff as needed.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal managers/supervisors regarding reception and visitor needs.
- Oversee office equipment maintenance such as copiers, fax machines, and leased assets.
- Assist with personnel processes including recruitment, retention, scheduling, and training record maintenance.
- Support special projects and company initiatives related to administrative functions.
- Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures, including safety, visitor policies, and quality standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Qualifications Required:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to make decisions with minimal supervision.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Comfortable performing routine tasks and detailed administrative work.
- Knowledge of filing systems and basic office machine operation.
Preferred Experience & Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Work Environment:
- Office setting with regular computer use and data entry.
- Occasional walking across business campus, stair use, standing, and light physical activity.
