Overview
The GI PCA/Endoscopy Scheduler will be responsible for taking vital signs, directing patients to proper exam rooms, and ensure medications are up to date. This position will also schedule endoscopy procedures at North Hills outpatient surgery and/or Washington Regional Medical Center.
Responsibilities:
- Clean exam rooms between patients.
- Schedule procedures at WRMC and/or North Hills outpatient surgery.
- Take vital signs, direct patients to proper exam rooms, and ensure all medications are up today. Prepare patients for examinations and other procedures.
- Regulates schedule according to procedure and physicians time and staffing requirements.
Qualifications:
- High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc.
- 7 to 11 months related experience and/or training, and 1 to 6 months related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
