Overview

The Physician Services Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of provider credentialing, the collection, processing and verification of provider credentialing documents, provider enrollment for government payers and commercial insurance, provider hospital applications and reappointments, and assisting with physician onboarding, physician benefits, and physician recruiting.

The MANA Administrative team provides support services for 27 physician-owned medical practices in Northwest Arkansas. We are an independent, physician owned group established in 1999 to responsibly manage the costs associated with health care, improve our practice efficiencies, and enhance overall care for our patients. Our administrative team includes Human Resources, Physician Services, Information Systems, Population Health, Accounting, Reimbursement, Compliance, Communications, Billing Services, and more! We all work together to help our physicians and clinics provide compassionate, comprehensive, quality health care. We support each other, often working on projects together, and maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares physician files, initiates checklists, notifies necessary departments, and requests provider information forms and MANA application from for all newly contracted MANA providers
  • Responsible for credentialing and recredentialing of all providers as outlined by NCQA standards and credential locum tenens and groups
  • Responsible for scanning/filing in EFC all DEA certificates, medical licenses and certificates of insurance
  • Prepare & submit all hospital applications and reappointments and follow up as needed
  • Create & update credentialing forms in OneApp
  • Maintain and update OneApp credentialing software with current information
  • Maintain providers' files to meet credentialing standards
  • Update and distribute various provider lists including provider network ID numbers/licenses, network status, initial and recredentialing due dates, site billing directories
  • Update providers' CV as needed
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned

Qualifications

  • High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area
  • Four years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Two+ years credentialing or provider enrollment experience preferred, but not required
  • Healthcare experience preferred, but not required
