Responsibilities
Room patients and obtain accurate vitals, medical histories, and medication lists
Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during visits and procedures
Administer injections and immunizations per provider orders
Perform specimen collection and EKGs
Manage tasks, phone calls, prescription refills, and patient messages
Accurately document in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and infection-control standards
Support clinic flow in a high-volume setting while maintaining patient satisfaction
Qualifications
Current Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required
Previous experience in family medicine or primary care preferred
Strong clinical and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
Excellent communication and customer-service skills
Dependable, team-oriented, and patient-focused
