Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting samples, checking in patients, and other phlebotomy area duties. This duty is performed daily.
- Take telephone messages and responds appropriately. Deliver, telephone, or fax reports. This duty is performed daily.
- Process and prepare samples for Reference lab Testsing, shipping, add-ons, and storage. This duty is performed daily.
- Scan and maintain files of appropriate laboratory documents. This duty is performed daily.
- Be proficient in working with appropriate computer applications. This duty is performed daily.
Qualifications
- Current phlebotomy certification is desirable.
- High school diploma or equivelant
