Overview
MANA Family Medicine HarBer is seeking a full time RMA/CMA, Monday-Thursday 08:00am-5 pm Friday 08:00am-noon. The RMA/CMA is responsible for directing patients to exam rooms, obtaining vital signs, reconciling medications, and charting items in our EHR system.
The position also involves assisting nurses and physicians as directed, perform rapid lab tests (urinalysis, strep/flu swabs, COVID rapid swabs, etc.) This position requires a lot of time being on your feet in a fast paced environment. Must be able to work independently and as a team.

Responsibilities
- Assist physician in setting up for procedures and exams, revising daily schedules; obtaining charts and charge tickets, locating lab tests and X-ray reports
- Ensure that patient chart/EMR entries are made accurately and in a timely manner
- Contact pharmacy to order new and refill prescriptions; notify patient; document appropriately
- Notify hospital or personnel of physician's orders
- Triage patients to ensure productive departmental flow
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training
- RMA certification
