Overview

MANA Family Medicine HarBer is seeking a full time PCA/CNA, Monday-Thursday 08:00am-5 pm Friday 08:00am-noon. The PCA is responsible for directing patients to exam rooms, obtaining vital signs, reconciling medications and charting items in our EHR system.

The position also involves assisting nurses and physicians as directed, perform rapid lab tests (urinalysis, strep/flu swabs, COVID rapid swabs, etc.) This position requires a lot of time being on your feet in a fast paced environment. Must be able to work independently and as a team.

The Certified Nursing Assistant performs patient-oriented procedures under the supervision of a nurse and/or physician.

Responsibilities

  • Direct patient to proper exam/treatment room; prepare patients for examinations and procedures
  • Take vital signs, and document patients’ reason for appointment
  • Perform rapid test as needed
  • Reconcile / Confirm acurate medication list

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 7 – 12 months related experience and/or training
