Overview
MANA Family Medicine HarBer is looking for a reliable Certified Medical Assistant to care for our patients and serve our community. We are a busy and growing family practice clinic that truly values the community and our staff. Hours are 8-5 Monday-Thursday 8-noon Friday. The Registered Medical Assistant position is under the supervision of the physician.
The RMA is responsible for providing direct or indirect care to patients who present with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems; utilizes knowledge of basic Medical Assistant principals, practices and ethics; participates in the organization and management of the physician's practice.

Responsibilities
- Assist physician in setting up for procedures and exams, revising daily schedules; obtaining charts and charge tickets, locating lab tests and X-ray reports
- Ensure that patient chart/EMR entries are made accurately and in a timely manner
- Contact pharmacy to order new and refill prescriptions; notify patient; document appropriately
- Notify hospital or personnel of physician's orders
- Triage patients to ensure productive departmental flow
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Medical Assistant Certification / Registration
- 12 months Family Medicine experience preferred
