MANA Family Medicine Springdale is a well-established family medicine clinic located in the heart of Springdale and we are currently looking for an LPN to join our team. The Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse is responsible for providing direct or indirect nursing care to patients who present with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems; utilizes knowledge of basic nursing principles, practices and ethics; participates in the organization and management of the physicians’ practice.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures pre-visit planning workflow is completed prior to visit, whenever possible
  • Optimizes care coordination with; hospitals, emergency room, consulting physicians, and community resources as needed
  • Develops workflow to ensure smooth transition of care for patients treated in facility by a specialty position or other healthcare provider
  • Reviews after visit summary with patients when appropriate
  • Triage patients to ensure productive departmental flow

Qualifications

  • Graduation certificate from accredited LPN school of nursing
  • Active LPN License
  • 2 years’ experience preferred, but not required
