KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate HR Business Advisor - Advisory to join our Talent & Culture organization.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate and partner with Human Resource Business Advisor (HRBA) peers, People Relation Group (PRG), Finance and Accounting, Resource Management and Practice Operations, and the business to help support major processes/projects for their specific function, including processes such as partner processes, performance development, employee compensation, and promotion processes for aligned function
- Plan, prepare and facilitate annual performance processes and calibration sessions, including agenda development, analytics and material preparation, and documentation of outcomes and action items
- Execute moderate to complex analyses to support performance and talent initiatives, proactively identify trends, risks and opportunities, and recommend solutions, process efficiencies, and/or improvements to the project leads and Performance Management Leader (PML)
- Own defined project roles or workstreams within a broader projects, processes, or programs, ensuring deliverables, timelines and dependencies remain on track; escalate risks as appropriate
- Apply independent judgement to evaluate multiple approaches and present clear, data-driven recommendations to project leads for review and decision making
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum three years of recent experience in human resource (HR) or comparable background
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in human resource management, organizational development, or business administration is required
- Demonstrated experience supporting performance development frameworks and related talent management processes; Intermediate understanding of human resource principles; foundational knowledge of HR-related laws and regulations preferred
- Advanced Excel proficiency (PivotTables, advanced lookup and aggregation functions) and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; Knowledge of PeopleSoft or other HRIS platforms preferred
- Proven ability to organize and manage personal workload over the long term to meet deliverable expectations effectively
- Capability to build and maintain relationships with the firm's partners and employees; ability to develop clear and concise written communications and prepare performance documentation; possess problem-solving skills, strong verbal, and written communication skills, as well as foundational presentation and facilitation skills
