KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Technology Innovation to join our Digital Nexus technology organization. This is a hybrid work opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development efforts in the field of Gen AI, including developing new algorithms, models, and techniques for analyzing and interpreting enterprise data
- Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to identify new opportunities for innovation and research in the field of Gen AI
- Keep updated with the latest research and trends in the field of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation in Gen AI
- Lead/work with a team of engineers and developers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of GenAI/AI projects
- Team closely with cross-functional teams to develop proof of concept (POC) projects and prototypes that demonstrate the potential of Gen AI
- Partner and collaborate with other technology groups, including architects, GenAI engineering team, and designers, to act as a thought leader for Gen AI, Gen AI roadmaps, and next generation technology direction
- Act with integrity, professionalism and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
- Minimum eight years of recent experience in development background implementing SDLC projects; minimum five years of recent experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; minimum of a high school diploma or GED required
- Proven experience in bringing in AI platforms/Solutions to solve business problem and make a business impact; hands-on experience with Python, Azure AI services or similar capabilities on other cloud platforms
- Strong leadership skills, experience managing and working with cross-functional team of developers and engineers; hands-on experience developing applications with AI technologies preferably GenAI; strong digital skills, fast learner on emerging technology and new ways of working
- Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations and ability to apply multiple AI solutions to business problems
- Excellent verbal/written communication, collaboration, analytical and presentation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; ability to set goals and participate in strategic initiatives for a team; foster the development of high-performance teams and interface with all levels of the organization; ability to participate in development of resource plans and structures and influence organizational priorities
