KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Alliance Marketing to join our Clients and Markets organization.
Responsibilities:
- Own and execute joint strategic marketing plans for Tax Alliances and Data Alliances that align to and support the alliance business plans and growth ambitions; drive the development and execution of content strategies that focus on building differentiated messaging and value propositions, as well as sales and marketing tools including videos, social media assets, and case studies for the alliances
- Apply a strategic perspective and bring an innovative approach when developing the tactical execution plans and work effectively with cross functional teams to execute the plan elements; create the strategy, plan, execute, and optimize demand generation programs that are part of the strategic marketing plan including KPMG presence at Tax Alliances and Data Alliances conferences, webinars, client events and more
- Project manage a variety of programs by developing and utilizing project plans; execute plans on time, on cost and deliver high quality programs; leverage firm lead management tools to measure program effectiveness and impact on the sales funnel
- Use funding in a smart and productive way to achieve the best results from the marketing strategy and programs, by using marketing plans, forecasting, actuals reporting; increase the visibility and awareness of our alliance solutions through social media, webcasts, podcasts, advertising, web content and more
- Create co-branded marketing assets with our alliance partners that support the alliance content strategy and leverage campaign assets, industry, and functional collateral, thought leadership and other materials within alliance marketing programs to amplify our brand
- Support alliance partner sales kick-off and other relationship-based events; foster strong internal team dynamics by leveraging ideas and input from all team members; proactively build and foster strategic relationships within Alliance partners' marketing organizations to identify and position KPMG for unique, high-impact co-marketing opportunities
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum ten years of recent integrated marketing experience within a Fortune 500 technology company, software provider, or professional services firm
- Master's degree from an accredited college/university is preferred; minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
- Strong knowledge of alliance/partner marketing, including integrated campaigns, events, and digital/social marketing
- Proven strategic leadership, with experience in project and budget management; strong understanding of firm and marketing organizational structures; self‑starter with exceptional communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and influence senior stakeholders, supported by strong networking and relationship‑management capabilities
- Adept at driving milestone delivery, embracing change, exercising sound judgment, and knowing when to escalate or seek guidance to ensure effective decision‑making

California Salary Range: $155000 - $311000
