KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Security Delivery Management to join our Enterprise Security Services Organization. This role is a remote work opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of security solutions and services, ensuring high standards of performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction
- Develop and maintain relationships across a matrix of leaders and groups as the trusted subject matter professional recommending necessary approaches to effectively execute project outcomes; maintain exceptional leadership, planning, and coordination skills to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
- Through direct delivery or in consultation to other project managers, drive continuous enterprise security service maturity and process improvement via effective, and efficient scoping, measurement, analysis, communication, as well as solutioning methodologies for sustainable outcomes aligned to the affordability and risk tolerance of the organization
- Leverage contemporary technology tools, develop and manage complex project plans inclusive of fiscal and change management aspects, while ensuring strategic alignment to subordinate projects or other interdependent security programs, and initiatives
- Apply advanced program and project risk management/mitigation methodologies to identify risks, coordinating escalation awareness and solutioning of issues with stakeholders; monitor project performance using relevant metrics, and KPIs, providing regular status reports and insights to all relevant stakeholders
- Provide active oversight, coaching, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing with direct reporting or project aligned personnel; possess people management oversight for a small to mid-sized team of entry level through intermediate level project management professionals located onshore or offshore
Qualifications:
- Minimum eight years of recent experience in the management of large, complex projects, programs or initiatives simultaneously with preference within physical and cyber security areas
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required; Six Sigma, Kaizen/Lean, or other industry recognized project management experience and/or certification is preferred
- Advanced knowledge of project management and workflow methodologies applicable to the role (such as Microsoft suite of tools, Smartsheets, Primavera, Jira, and ServiceNow)
- Demonstrated experience in project financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Excellent verbal/written communication, collaboration, analytical and presentation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork, with the expert ability to engage and brief senior executive audiences; ability to set goals and participate in strategic initiatives for a team is required; foster the development of high-performance teams, and interface with all levels of the organization
- This position is remote based with up to five percent travel may be required
