Under routine supervision, the position is responsible for planning units for regular service. The incumbent will identify which units are due, determine which service is needed, and coordinate with the appropriate group and location.Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule units due for service to terminals or third-party vendors
- Monitor, update, and audit reports pertaining to service needs
- Check history of units to ensure necessary services have been performed on schedule and determine when service is due next
- Document units that have missed services and reschedule as needed
- Present on assigned topics during weekly team meetings
- Answer and manage routed breakdown calls, efficiently plan repairs, and provide timely updates to stakeholders
- Coordinate service through planner system and/or direct communication with field teams
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED with up to 1 year of related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- AND/OR Demonstration of the following skills and abilities through education, certifications, military, or other experiences
- Ability to assess terminal workloads, adjust work distribution accordingly, and ensure deadlines are met
- Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas through various mediums
- Ability to process information with high levels of accuracy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Automotive and/or diesel mechanic knowledge
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with personnel, customers and vendors
- Ability to use time and resources efficiently and effectively
- Ability to work both individually and as a team
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations to provide excellent service

Compensation:
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
