Job Summary:

As a Warehouse Engineer, you will focus on designing, planning and implementing new warehouse solutions for Final Mile Services. The position is responsible for developing end‑to‑end solution designs, including network modeling, labor planning, warehouse layout and capacity analysis, while supporting RFP responses, pricing inputs, and cross‑functional operational planning. In addition to the focus on warehousing, this role will also cross train with the rest of the Final Mile Engineering team and work on typical FMSE projects such as transportation designs, reporting, automation and process improvement. This role may require travel depending on the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply in-depth knowledge of business processes and experience to create or improve solutions
  • Interpret business issues and requirements to provide optimal solutions
  • Identify and solve complex problems using technical and quantitative methods Lead and/or support projects to accomplish business goals
  • Tailor communication of technical information to audience of peers and business partners
  • Interact with internal and external customers to understand stakeholder needs Train, mentor, coach, and onboard junior team members
  • Lead collaborations with cross-functional teams to create and implement solutions

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Management, or related field, or foreign equivalent, or suitable combination of education, experience, and training with 5 years of experience in Industrial Engineering or related field
  • AND Demonstration of the following
  • Experience in data visualization software, statistics, operations research, linear programming, forecasting, predictive modeling, relational databases, and/or SQL

Compensation:

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
